    cozy cabins
    dinner offerings
    weak wi-fi
    shared bathrooms

I've seen better, but worse too

Charming, cozy cabins in a fine location near Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. Dinner offerings are a culinary highlight, with local lamb! Quick check-in adds a convenient touch!

Wi-Fi connection was annoyingly weak! Shared bathrooms could be better maintained and less cramped.

The hotel was fairly clean with super-friendly and extremely accommodating staff who provided us with good breakfasts. The location of the property was stunning, right next to a BEAUTIFUL valley. And we were short walk to the beautiful Fjadrargljufur Canyon, the southeast coastline and nature.

    farm-to-table dining
    thin walls

The farm-to-table dinner was a culinary delight, with tender local lamb that was exquisite.

The walls in our cabin were quite thin, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to noise from neighboring guests.

    fine view
    pleasant breakfast
    charming cabin
    cramped bathroom
    lack of blackout curtains
    lighting issues

The cabin offered a fine view, made waking up a treat, and the breakfast was kinda filling. The shared bathroom felt cramped, and the absence of blackout curtains made it difficult to sleep due to the constant daylight.

    stunning landscape
    attentive staff
    cramped bathroom
    shared facilities

Charming cabins nestled in a stunning landscape, perfect for a peaceful escape. The staff's attentiveness, highlighted by packed breakfasts for early travelers, was much appreciated. The close proximity to Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon makes it a fantastic base for exploration, even if the shared bathroom setup felt a bit cramped at times.

    family hike
    cozy cabin
    tasty dinner
    limited storage

We enjoyed a wonderful family hike to the fine canyon nearby. Our cabin was warm and cozy, perfect for our group of five adult kids. The restaurant whipped up a tasty dinner that was both satisfying and good.

My kids wished for more storage in the cabin.

    cozy atmosphere
    delicious dinner
    cramped shared bathroom
    long walk
    lack of blackout curtains

The cottage offered a cozy atmosphere with a comfortable bed. Dinner featured a good homemade ice cream and local lamb, definitely a highlight worth tasting. Accessing the gorgeous canyon views required a long walk, and the shared bathroom setup felt a bit cramped. The lack of blackout curtains impacted sleep quality due to continuous daylight in the morning.
